Why Breeders Are Better
The main reason that breeders are better to buy from is because this way, as long as you have taken the time to find a reputable breeder, you know that you are getting a dog that has been properly bred, properly taken care of, and you know when the dog was born, what breed it is, what if any health conditions it has, and so on.
On the other hand, when you go to buy from a dog pet store, usually they have very little information on the animals there.
What’s even worse is that in many cases, in dog pet stores, there are dogs that have come from puppy mills. Whether the owner of the pet store is aware of it or not, a lot of the time if you do background research on pet stores you will see that their puppies mainly come from puppy mills. These are places where there are people who are breeding dogs improperly. They are only breeding these dogs to make money and don’t care about the breed of dog or about how well the dogs are doing.
To ensure that you are not going to be getting any puppy from a puppy mill, you want to find a reputable breeder and make sure that you stick to taking this route instead of going through a dog pet store if you are looking for a new canine friend.
